Twenty years ago, Donna Savage set out on a journey to prove that strength training is the most important exercise for women. She joined a crusade to dispel the myth that lifting weights gives women big, bulky muscles when it actually does the opposite--toning, tightening and giving us curves in all the right places. Along with her husband, Donna is the founder of Empower Fitness, a fitness company that offers products that make fitness fun.

As a busy, working mom in her 50s, Donna is able to do things now that she could never have done in her 20s. While her company's women’s exercise solutions have expanded well beyond strength training, her belief remains….. STRONG body, STRONG mind, STRONG spirit.
